Woah, I want in on this real estate trading. I'll take the farm, and you guys can fight over my town house.
-
It's only a mile from the beach too!

Town house in Florida. Prime real estate there, but not in my book. I'll stick with the farm. I just came out of Florida (you didn't by chance deliver there recently, did you? Perhaps to a very famous attraction?) and I'm glad I'm not sitting here sweating in my bunk.

I'm not wild about it. I like Florida, but I really want to live in a more rural setting. No, I haven't been to Florida in a week or so and not to that evil place conveniently located in sunny Central Florida. Sitting in Gary, actually.
-
Gary, eh... lots of people hate Gary, but it's really my favorite terminal. Sure, Marshfield's nicer, but at least I don't shower in the same room as someone else taking a big old dump. I hope you're not having maintenance done, you'd probably still be there when I get there tomorrow.

Well we've survived another week of training. We also survived another brutal (large amounts of sarcasm being used) written test. Heh...our instructors keep telling us that the test counts for 90% of our grade. When we all ace it, they tell us its the next one that counts for 90% of our grade. The instructors here are awesome (especially Keith and Dale). They really know their stuff, and take great care in making sure you're actually learning what you need to know.
I think I'm starting to nail down the 45 Alley Dock. As far as driving goes...its a piece of cake, but you have to pay attention to a lot. People really don't care about the big trucks on the road. They cut you off, stop short in front of you, speed up to pass you just to take an exit; just all kinds of nonsense out there on the road. All I need to lock in is the pre-trip and in cab inspections and I should be good for CDL test day. Hard to believe that it is just around the corner.
I will try to keep you all posted, but I'm still limited on internet use. The Keys Apartment doesn't have internet access in room K118; or I can't pick it up on my Wi-Fi card. I'd say if someone was in my room and getting net access, they were pirating someone elses connection. The local library has free internet, both internal desktops and a working Wi-Fi network. You get 8 hours of connection per day. I think it is a maximum of 100Mb download per day, but I'm not a mp3 person so it doesn't bother me.
Well take care, I'll post more later...
