I see their trucks periodically. Are you wanting to do 1099? Do you have any other options? If you do, I'd suggest taking them.

talked to a driver a while back, said mostly 1099.
He was not real happy.
Hadn’t been home in over 6 months, couldn’t afford to take off.

i don’t think this should be in favorite companies.

 

Is your record real bad? If it's for the short term that's cool. Sometimes we gotta do thise types of jobs to rehab a career.

 

I'm done trucking now but in the past I've worked for a handful these Chicago companies. They all put forward a great business plan and promise you all sorts of things that you want but in the end it's just another job where you will end up paying taxes and a lot of them. If you need a job that will hire anyone HMD out of Chicagoland is w2 with 1099 option as well. There not a terrible company but they decent enough. The other problem with these Chicago companies is most of them use dispatcher services located outside of the USA which gets annoying at times but good luck to ya
