Stating CDL school C1 in Indy IN 7/26th

    Hi all starting a new thread here to log my pogress though training that I am Stating Monday 26th at Driver Solutions in Indy IN. And after school I was pre-hired by USA Truck. This has been a dream for me all my life and now have the opertunity to this and my wife stands behind me 100%. I have read alot of post from other people that have went through C1 and there is some fear about entering a new carree change me being 44. I am going to keep a log here of my school and my training with a trainer driver and then me being let on my own. Any positive advise would be helpfull

    Doing good and also i got my state CDL guide was told it will help alot finished the e-gears but really studing the cdl manual too! Thats really cool you are starting AUG 2nd look me up will have a week start before you will give ya some advice of the first week lol. Who are you hired by? Added a friend request too.

    Hey Guy's good luck I'm a graduate from C1 but I was in Ft Worth. the school is OK. could use more time but it is what it is. I was prehired by USA and they canceled the first week me and 10 others at the same time. seems to be common. Don't panic they have others PAM will do the same its just the way it goes. Werner takes almost everybody from them so you will get a job. I spoke to Swift on my own and got hired by them. remember school is what YOU make of it. you'll see guys standing around talking and playing those are the ones that have trouble. your hotel is not gonna be great but its livable. watch your pennies as money goes fast! 4 of us took the test together I passed the first try others had to do it again. only difference was I paid attention when others were driving and watched what they did right and WRONG! learn from others mistakes it makes life easier. keep us up to date on your progress and good luck.
