I was doing my load check and opened hood and noticed my Bridgestone R283a steer was shredding rapidly. I only drove ~170 miles from my pre trip and tire was fine.
I went to T/A and tech said possible cause is misaligned trailer??
Anyway Ive replaced both steers with Michelins, rides much better now.
Ive had 92k miles on those Bridgestones.

That's weird looking 'wear'. One side? both? all the way around?

Is that even tread wear??? We're both front tires like that? The face of the tire looks great. Here's what my 6 day old tire did.

Looks like the tire ran up on something like an uneven curb to me.

You could take edge where its peeling and peel it more almost like bubble gum -

I wonder if these tires are bad batch or something. Get some class action going, someone could've died.
