    I stand corrected. But anyone who runs a recapped steer tire is an IDIOT!! And out of all the stupid regulations that DOT comes up with this one takes the cake

    I’ve lost recaps before. For me that would be a no go down the road. Would not drive a truck with recapped steer tires.

    The last company my cousin drove for doing mail started using all position tires on the steers.

    He said in 30+ years he'd never experienced anything like it.

    Said it was like turning a tug boat.
