In other words you'd rather work harder than smarter? I'll bet the low pay megas would like to have a bunch of drivers with your attitude.

What's your limit? If you were sitting at .26cpm would you run for .22cpm? 20?

drvrtech77, Shaggy, teqntexas and 3 others Thank this.

^Hahahahhaa, for real! Wow! No wonder these companies still pay crappy cpm, because of people like that that would work for nothing.

I dont have time for your ignorant ### post. What would you do if you didn't have 30yrs experience, and just starting out?

One thing to keep in mind is that the last time Stevens gave their drivers a raise was like 1992 or something? What does that say about how much they value people and want to keep drivers around?

I was making .26 CPM starting out over a decade ago. That's not even a living wage nowadays.

    X-Country and drvrtech77 Thank this.

Yeah really. 26 cpm was rookie starting wages back in 2000 when I started.

I sure wouldn't drop my pay rate just to stay busy. You're just shooting yourself....and other drivers as well...in the foot when you do that.

As far as my post being ignorant, look at how many people agree with me versus how many people are slamming you for what you wrote. Better get a clue, meat. The only enemy you have here is yourself.

That will be the guy who buys his own trk. and then run it for crap rates.
Then state well I'm running and not sitting so I must be making money...

    UKJ Thanks this.

I wouldn't be out here if I was making only .26 CPM, and it's very possible to make lots more right out of trucking school. I get a good chuckle when I see "contracter division" on the side of the door.
