well, you CAN 'creep' over 100 yards at 3-4 mph to tank. However, remember when you back up...don't hit 5 mph or it'll put you in 'drive', even in reverse. Telling you guys, this winter is NOT going to be fun!

ah, something tells me he cheats his ELOGS before HE thought it was cool! More than likely another, 'general freight trainer' that goes around acting like he's everyone's boss! UGH....I don't miss one of my former company's and those kinds of guys! Even the 1 year driver, turned trainer thought they were other drivers bosses, and they only had 1 year of experience! Yep that's a shorter pretrip...annotate it as a Bobtail pretrip...less time than truck n trlr pretrip

however, what the main Safety guy has said, in all of his q/c messages, you need to show a full 7 minutes for pre and post trip. So if you go On Duty pretrip for 3 minutes, then switch to Yard Move for say 3 minutes, you need to go back to pretrip, again for another 4 minutes. So what should just be 7 is now really turned into 13 minutes on your 14 hour clock. This is exactly how it was explained to me.
