Now with the no pet rule...if later on I get my own truck and drive for sni as an owner operator is there anything that would preclude me from having a pet?

No, as an O/O you can have pets. Used to see them all the time walking their owners at the various operating centers. Those of you who drove for Schneider about ten years ago might remember the O/O with a pet GOAT! Sitting at the Fontana OC one day I see a dog staring at me in my peripheral vision. Look over and it's a goat staring me down from the next truck. Also remember the guy with three exotic birds in his truck. Met him in Gary as he was walking the yard with a bird on each shoulder and one perched on his arm. Bird people are kind of odd...like people who travel with goats.

Well, I got the "final instructions" with confirmation # for the bus. So it's all really going to happen. I found out what held them up. One of the medicines I too flagged on the drug test. I told medical about it and it's been put on my DOT physical form and I faxed that over to them. They said it wouldn't be a problem I guess they wanted to make extra sure so I had to send the drug test place a copy of the pill bottle label and had they had somone call me and ask if I felt this would cause any problems driving, I said no of ofcourse and later this evening I got an email with a conditional employment letter. I'm really excited and am looking forward to Monday!
