Post in here an ruin my image?? Hahaha! :biggrin_25523:

I will tell you about a coworker of mine back before the GPS days. He took a short cut through a neighborhood only to see bluelights behind him. He pulled over and got out to see miles of coax cable dragging behind the truck. He took out the neighborhood's cable TV out. He didn't get in trouble though. Turned out the cable was suppose to be at 14 feet and wasn't. Still funny though.

There was a trucker that lived down the road from me. He wasn't as fortunate. He lived on a big hill with about a 20 foot embankment on the front of his yard with the road below. His truck rolled to the embankment and literally rolled sideways and ended up wheels up on the road below. He was inside the house and all he heard was the crash. He was a company driver and got fired over it.

Yeah, it could have been worse here at the ol' homestead... oh, well, you may have already heard one of my favorite lines: "ANY DAY YOU DON'T KILL A WAGONLOAD OF KIDS IS A GOOD DAY!!!" Of course, some of those "good days" are better than others, "Roger?" It makes me laugh when I hear some driver on the road carping about getting cut off by a four-wheeler or whining about an episode on the docks... I usually key up and tell that driver, "If that's all that happens to you today, then you're doin' alright..." Hey, I just noticed that I've been upgraded to "Light Load Member." Guess that means I can haul air filters now instead of sailboat fuel...

Well, I had myself a rookie day here just a couple of days ago. Just when you think you're over it...

Got emptied at the receiver and needed to hustle over to the next shipper just a couple miles across town. Did the Qcomm "paperwork" and headed out the gate.

Looked in my mirrors about a quarter mile down the road so I could check for hangers-on while I set up my upcoming right turn...only to see these weird panels on the trailer.

Yessir, I left the doors open. They were all latched down and everything, so it's not like they were swinging in the breeze, but everybody behind me got a good look at the inside of my empty trailer.

Made me blush. And then I had to wait until I got to the freeway on ramp to have the space to pull over and close them.

Had to laugh at myself. Just another reminder to never get in a hurry...and to thank the good lord above that those doors didn't swing free.

It was delicious...thanks very much. :biggrin_2559:

Actually, I had a stupid moment earlier today. Getting a Subway sandwich. Read the young lady's nametag: "Minah". Hmm, I think...that's an unusual name...Minah, as in minah bird. So, I ask...where did she get that name?

As soon as I got the last word out, I read it again..."Mariah".

I have GOT to get some better glasses....luckily, I've got a newer white Schneider truck, so at least I found MY unit....

Now where'd I put that Gatorade....

I could not stop too take a picture or even begin too tell you where abouts it happened , but I seen some dumb a%^ guess he got lost and tried too get onto the turnpike off a secoundary road you see these roads that leave the turnpike mostly for state patrol or emergency veichles too use to get onto or off well these are made for cars or small vehicles, this guy tried to come down an embankment with a 53', well the cab went down allright, but the trail rear did not follow, and was hanging half off the road ready too spill over.:biggrin_2559: I done some pretty dumb stuff in my days but this one was a doozy lol.
