I seen this a couple years ago when out hunting. The driver was following his GPS and it got him in big trouble. It happened in Giles County, VA a little ways off US 460, December of 2010. Was told that had to stop and wait at the bottom of the mountain before could go up the snow covered road to the top where I was going hunting. About 15 minutes pass and 3 wreckers come down the road and following them is a Papa Johns pizza truck with a reefer trailer. The driver had came up from the 460 side of the mountain pass they Mountain Lake Hotel which is a curvy tight road up the mountain to begin with. At the hotel it becomes a single lane road and a mile past that changes to dirt and crosses a small creek. The driver went through all this in the snow in the night and started down the other side of the mountain before sliding over the side of the bank up to some trees. Luckily for him several big oak trees caught the truck and kept it from rolling. He walked off the mountain and was taken to jail after he called 911 when he got to a phone. Damage I seen to the truck was tore up drivers side, trailer was all caved in on left top side where it hit a tree. Not sure why he didn't stop when the road turned to snow covered dirt road. It could have been way worse for the driver if not had been for those oak trees.

Just starting to climb a hill during the winter, tried to engage the power divider before I lost traction, but flipped the fifth wheel slide. Good thing I was still pulling and the weight kept the pins locked. Went "OH CRAP!" and flipped it back, then hit the pdl. That was about the worst thing I've done.

yeah it makes one h*** of a crash when it hits the stoppers at the end of the rail slides. IH is bad for the two switches being placed close together. wakes you up in a hurry

I got a new remote controlled crawler (this is me) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3rP3XkAdhc for parking mobile homes. The new one was about 10% faster than the one I had used before. I was walking towards the job site with the remote in my hand and crawler behind me. One of my busiest customers was there to see the new crawler, I didnt realize how fast it was, ran into the back of my leg with 5 people watching. Very nearly ran over myself with a 10,000 pound crawler. Scared the cr a p out of me. Looked really professional.
