Your company doesn't offer any solutions? When I worked for Stevens, they usually arranged with a Kenworth or Thermoking dealer/shop to park trucks on time off unless they already had a lot/drop yard.

What part of town do you live and I can help you better. What exit are you near? If you plan on leaving your car I wouldn't do the truck stop thing.

Where is it that you live.
Depending on the outfit you go to, might have a yard or customer nearby.

Most any large truck dealership with a repair shop usually has a large lot and sells parking for locals. I used to pay 40.00 a month at Jim's Biggg Truck in Pasco, WA. Locked gate, lots of room for a trailer if you have one. I also used to park my bobtail on the street outside my complex with the blessing of the Sheriff's department (they said that it slowed the speeders down) I had an Schneider Stick I ran a chain through and set it out behind the tractor and had no problems.

Exactly what Blair said. Find a business near you. Talk to the owner, offer him some money.

Doing this will help avoid a long drive to and from home.

Watkins & Shepard doesn't have a terminal within driving distance ? We park our truck at the terminal.

I don't think I'll be going to W&S...their safety scores scare me. And their closest terminal is far away.

Not sure what company I'm going with yet...trying to get ideas about where to park a truck. Our HOA of the neighborhood is a pain in the rear.

Having a terminal within driving distance is nice because when you come back from being on the road for however long....the last thing you want to do is drive an hour or more to get home.

One benefit of letting my daughter use my car when I'm out. She's gotta pick dad's ### up when he comes home!
