Speed limits are a constant struggle to keep up with. Get them fixed and another state changes theirs. RM does put out a quarterly update that supplements the map data to help keep up with restrictions and speeds.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I haven't updated to the latest version yet, but I don't recall this being mentioned in the fix:

When you turn off automatic recalculation, leave the route, and then rejoin the route at a later point -- it never realizes you've rejoined and continues to show the recalculate circle arrows (and fails to give turn by turn directions)

Ya mine does the same thing. It works ok if you don't leave the route for a long distance eg. rest area or truck stop but if you go off route for a longer distance you have to recalc manually.

Hi Mark, been having issues with my 720 lately. First, after updating the maps, it will no longer update the software. I get two messages, one seems to be saying "corrupted device" and the other says no SD card detected. I removed the SD card and reinserted it, several times, and rebooted the PC, etc.

Also, on my last trip, several Hazmat routing issues I thought you need to be aware of. With Truck preference Hazmat = Flammable:

Going north on I 20 south of Birmingham, there are big signs saying no through traffic on I20, must take 459. The 720 wanted to route me on 20 all the way.

With my destination Dow at Dale Ave in Knoxville TN, the 720 routed me off of I40, onto 640, then 275, when it should have kept me on I-40 directly to the plant since I was not travelling through. It cried, "Hazmat violation!" and promptly erased the route completely.

Last, when I exited off of I-10 on the east side of Houston onto 610, again it warned me that I was in Hazmat vioation, although 610 is the HC route around Houston. Again, it erased the route . That's a concern. I like the warnings, especially when they are legit, but for Pete's sake, 720, do wipe the route off the map.

The location for the Sprint Mart #40 travel center in Tuscumbia, AL is incorrect. The location for the cat scale at the Spring Mart #40 travel center is correct.

I will have to test that.

    Thanks,
