I have noticed anytime i go through those reduced speed zones with my 720 that it takes it a while to change the speed. If i do a manual recalculation of my route it corrects it.

Has to do with the truck speeds not being 100% correct in the Map database, so it may show truck speed until it picks up a segment showing a car speed.

    Thanks,
    mark

Mark-Does The 720 have any way of locking in a route once I get it sent to my liking? I run West Virginia to California quite frequently and have a route that I want to run! The 720 will sometime start out with that route or I will adjust it but almost always adjust itself somewhere along the line! Not a big deal but an aggravation to be sure, especially if I don't catch it right away! When it readjust itself and I'm on an unfamiliar route it can be especially problematic!

You can turn off auto recalc - preferences/route/recalculation - set to manual.

    Thanks,
    Mark
