    I have to tell you that I LOVE Loves TS. I purchased my unit on 2-13-11 and its well past the 30 day exchange but, I went in and spoke to the manager at the Loves in Benton,AR and she exchanged it with no hasle at all. Awesome customer service.

    Doing all the updates now.

    idid , mute set to normal , voice out working through my truck speakers ....idid called rmn for help they told me that a copy of recepit must be fax it first .. seroiusly ilost it ..then simply told me we can not help you ...the good side that ican make it work through my truck speakers which all ineed to do ... it was a worth device iever have alot problem softwar leg and mapp cofuse yeah have some nice futue but dosnt wortha penny to me any more im about to get carmin .... my advice to every one who dont have any exprince with this device stay away u goona lose ur money and time worth device ever made

    That's pretty pathetic. I lost the receipt for my laptop and all I had to do was call Best Buy and ask for a new one. They had my purchase on record and emailed me a valid copy of the receipt. The only reason a modern company would not have the info on your unit and not know it was yours is if they actively did not want to honor their warranties.

    johnq ... where did u buy it?maybe they can help u? Its been common practice since i was a wee kid that you needed the reciept for returns. not sure how you got through life not knowing that.

    Rand Mcnally is taking back both of the units to repair them. I sent them out today. They gave me a UPS label (Overnight Shipping) to send it to them. I will keep all of you updated on what they say. They were very friendly when they called me back. Hopefully this will resolve my problems.

    hmmm, did best buy build your laptop? did you try to call the laptop maker for your reciept? no did not think so.......
    he needed to contact where he bought it, to see if he could get a receipt
    not rand mcnally.

    I did not need to call HP. HP has my information on file and do not require a receipt from me to work on my laptop. My TND500 is registered with Rand in the same manner, yet they would refuse to cover their product on a technicality from what I'm hearing. That is bad business.
