    yes but, xp must be different because those options are not in my control panel. Also never did get the problem with the unit losing the ifta miles after it recalculates a few times fixed

    Kinda makes me wonder if I should go with the TND 710 or look at one of the others after reading all these problems. Mark you are awesome to lend so much help, I never to stop be amazed by your relentless help to us truckers but all these problems makes one wonder about the product.

    Hey Mark, sorry for the delay. Looking at the Windows components, they are indeed installed, on, checked, and I checked services, the .net framework is running there as well. I also did a sfc /scannow and everything is good. I may just load up windows xp on a virtudisk and try it from there when I go home in a couple days unless you have any other suggestions.

    This is the "help" thread... not the satisfied customer thread, so yeah... Mark has a bunch of problems to fix. Someone's gotta keep him employed!

    I haven't had a bit of problem with my 510. It pays for itself over, and over, and over. Some of the best money I've spent yet.

    I was team for a while and team mate had a 510 and worked flawless.Does anyone know if you can do the updates and such with a mac?

    The new dock still doesn't update 700 any news when it's going to be fixed?

    yeah I got a response from support on this a couple days ago, 'sometime this month'.

    Whether its the best or not I cant say but there is no arguement these guys actually care what we think. how long did the garmin guy stick around for? a week? :biggrin_2559:
