Mark (or anyone who knows) why is it when I have my unit set to truck mode (in Ca) and I have my speed warning set to one mile over the limit (56 MPH) it only gives me the red visual and no verbal UNLESS I'm in a 55 zone? When I'm in an area where the CAR speed limit is higher, it only gives the visual and no audio warning? If I HAVE to choose I'd choose the audio warning so I don't have to look at it. Very frustrating.

Mark (or anyone) my TND 710 cord for the truck broke, so can I use the one for my 520, or do I need to order a specific 7" one. Thanks, Ken.

The 720 uses an internal Wi-Fi card that will connect to a hotspot.

    Thanks.

More behind the story on the external traffic receiver and the 520/720 in how the external traffic antenna communicated in software. It is not an easy fix.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I can assist. I would have to remote into you computer and do some file work on the Rand folders that control the Dock. I use Teamviewer. Sunday, I am available after 7pm est.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Long story short. A lot of truck speeds are missing in the Map Database. Rand has enabled a set speed feature. The no voice for this feature has been mentioned before and is in the hands of the developer

    Thanks,

    5" - 5vdc 1Amp
    7" - 5vdc 2Amp

Make sure the USB end has 5 pins.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Thank you so much Mark! Now THAT is what I call customer service! I sent you a PM with some info.

Also, I was reading some earlier posts and wanted to mention something that might be helpful. My unit did the same thing about 7 months ago that a previous poster's did - it started up and got colored lines until the screen faded to white. I obtained a RMA from Rand McNally, and then on a whim I removed the factory charging cable and plugged in a regular USB cable connected to one of those $10 2 amp cigarette lighter plus available at any truck stop. It started up immediately and never gave me any trouble until today. Just thought I would mention that, it might save some headaches for people in the future.
