The accident rate and cost of such is factored into their business model. I saw an article yesterday stating Knight/ Swift actually increased their profits during the first quarter when most others declined. I'm not waiving the Swift banner, just saying that the accidents and drivers are literally just a factor/number in the grand scheme.

I guess, by that logic, you have no business anywhere but the Swift forum.

I'm not bashing Swift, I was just talking about their business model and current stock prices. Why so defensive Moose?

Op... how are you basing your numbers on?
Why are you blaming a company for a drivers bad judgement?
    Show your facts.
I know swift drivers get into accidents and do hit things. So does other drivers for other companies.
If I was computer savy.. I could post pics of other companies to your pics of swift accident.
I been with swift this time around since August and haven't seen one swift accident. But have seen other companies.
Swift is huge and a training company. So they will gave high numbers. But I bet the percentage is low compared to other companies.
Other drivers have always bash swift and they don't even work here.
I been with swift toatal of 4 yrs. And have my cdl since 97.
So I am no rookie and I surely don't pay to much attention to all these swift haters.
    I actually like swift.
    No company is perfect.

Bigger the company the great the chance of a wreck within the company. I seen all the big carriers in wrecks don't assume they all bad, while most the drivers maybe rookies a number of those are veteran drivers who get complacent.
We all need to remember that we are all one mistake from bad accident hopefully not as bad the Colorado accident recently on I-70. maybe too soon mention but the fact is we all need to do our jobs.
Be proactive about it too I am tired of seeing these dumb prick drivers pushing cars up with there semis no excuse for this crap.
All I can say you best not attempt it in while I am in my car you won't like how I react. cops, your company involved whole 9 yards I see it this way your doing this crap could be a family in there you apparently don't care you don't need to drive that simple if your that big hurry we don't need you out there lets get someone else to fill that seat because I will say there are better people.

Was at a Coca Cola facility in Vegas last week, swift opened the doors and all pallets where let’s say upside down, all the drivers standing around looking at it with disbelief I had to be a wise ### and yelled it’s a swift truck what do you expect. Needless to say everyone’s day brightened up.

I did however pray for the driver after.
