Okay, Swift, maybe, but not Walmart.

Prime bobtailed me from Joplin, MO to Ogden, UT to get a new trailer. Heh... what made that one even funnier is the main terminal is 80 miles away in Springfield, MO.

I heard of a driver having an additional stop/pickup on his load that happened to be the very same place as the final destination Walmart DC. He quickly sent in his arrive at stop macro followed by his depart from stop macro and arrival at final destination macro all within about 3 minutes and got paid his stop pay lol picking up a quick and easy $20 bucks.

I have seen everything from Swift day cabs to sleepers on the Walmart dedicated runs here in FL. Last I heard on the forum was Swift was getting a bunch of single bunk sleepers and new day cabs. The truck types I have seen are Volvo VNL300's, Volvo VNL430's, Volvo VNL630's, and Intl Prostars. I did see an odd Frtl Columbia one time.

This happens to me all the time, you bet I'm going to get stop pay as well. It happens when there are 2 separate Bills from shipper that can go on same trailer. P.O. dates for each are a day or two apart also.

Something weird going on here. I'm not getting notifications on replies on any thread I have subscribed to.

Suprised this is still alive. :biggrin_2559:

Why not ask drivers that considered going to that account?

Swift is tighter than the paper on the wall.

I delivered a trailer East of Huntsville once. Swift had some 48ft feather light trailers in there. I think it was Target. Pretty sure they had some dedicated there.

Yes you could make that assumption about Swift RT: however, the majority of the WalMart drivers are based out of the FL DC's they work out of with the exception of the dispatchers Swift brought down. Many temporary drivers who came down to help either stayed or went back to their home domiciles. As for asking drivers, I would but I hardly seen any stopped during my off hours. They are always on the run making the tight schedules RT.

Once again. Ask drivers that considered transferring there. Swift won't pay for the transfer, moving expenses. Too cheap.

I was not referring to their schedules.

Ask the drivers here in the Swift forum if they offered to pay for the transfers.
