    No, you never know. What was said in his classes will stick with me forever and I have nothing but respect for the man, he's one of the most straightforward people I have ever met. I'm sure swift will miss him, and I'm glad I got to benefit from his experience.

    Swift has been a good choice for me so far. I went to Millington and have been solo for about 4 months and no regrets. Yes there have been times where I thought "why did I decide to do this?" but I expected that going in. I get 2500-3000 miles a week, they pretty much run me as much as my hours allow.

    The Edwardsville terminal is pretty nice, they have a cafe and if I remember right free laundry. I'm based out of Gary and while it is a dump in terms of location and facilities the DM's there have been great to me. Right now running all 48 but they did ask if I wanted to do regional for kmart and sears but I think I'll stick with OTR for now, driving would not be the same if I didn't get to run I68 at 79600 gross every now and then.

    Honestly I think people like to bash us because we are the big fish in the pond. Swift does have a lot of newer drivers and you see our trucks so often people only remember the bad things they see, not the 100 other Swift trucks they passed with no problems.

    GO TO TRANSAM!!! RUN from SWIFT. Don't walk....RUN! They will screw you so hard and not even offer vaseline.

    Not anymore. It's a dollar now. The only one I know of that has free laundry is Lancaster. Columbus is only a quarter, and New Boston is two quarters, though.

    Let me guess you have never worked for them or you quit or they fired or you decided your not cut out to be a trucker, I am right ain't I.

    Trans Am doesn't offer what I am looking for no dedicated, all autos, and they do a lot of meat which equals lots of waiting to be unloaded and try to force you to lease and don't run the 48.

    I think I will do fine with Swift I am a hard worker and don t give up so if I find my self unhappy I will stuck it out for a year and leave.

    you been the only person in this thread that has said not Swift

    So you heard or read about Swift being bad if you hate Swift get out of this thread no one cares what you think.

    I am looking into going to SWIFT in HH division out of Sumner, Wa which runs PACIFIC Northwest. The only problem is that you are using the Sliding pay scale alot
