Best friend runs P&D in the Montgomery terminal. He is kinda nervous about this deal. We shall see. On the bright side I told him his dream came true! He is finally a swift driver lmao!!

There is no problem so egregious that Swift can't make it worse. Given Swift's driver retention "turn and burn" strategy, they are going to turn Cooper into the next McDriving job.

Swift buying Cooper, TForce buying UPSF, YRC gutting all their regionals and renaming them Yellow.... What a time to be alive. God knows what the LTL landscape will look like 5 years from now and who is going to be left standing.

I'm surprised this didn't get more news. My buddy left AAA a month or so ago to go to Landstar. He's definitely NOT regretting leaving with this news.

I’m curious to know where are you guys getting your information that Swift drivers will be pulling our freight. Since the merger have you guys seen swift pulling knight trailers? I know I haven’t. I would just like to see this info or articles that you guys are reading.

Yes, I actually have. I've seen them also pulling Abeliene trailers as well. Swift is a very powerful company and can pretty much do whatever they want.

Maybe not right at the beginning, I expect we will see knight and swift drivers "helping" fill in spots for the ltl. They do this for the local drivers already in day cabs, it's also a method of saving money by sending otr drivers to do local work and not having to pay hourly which is why I decline most local work.

No . i think swift owns central freight lines as well. Another lol company out of texas . they definatly have something up their sleeve in the future. I have seen swift pulling knight trailers and vice versa but i believe both companies are still independently run for the most part
