My terminal manager is always seeking drivers who are interested in teaming. Yes they keep a list going and try to match people up. I believe (but don't quote me on it) that new drivers starting out team get paid either $0.16 or $0.17 cents per mile, that's all miles even when you are sleeping. This will represent about $0.32 to $0.34 cents per mile compared to going solo brand new which pays $0.25 per mile.

I'm out of Lewiston. Been thinking about teaming. I enjoyed it when I was on my mentors truck. In fact I wasn't looking forward to being solo when my 240 hrs were done.
maybe in the future I'll find someone who'll put up wih me.

You'll be out of Sumner if you are on a specialty fleet. If you are regular OTR, your DM will be in Troutdale. You will still be able to park at Sumner.
