My terminal manager is always seeking drivers who are interested in teaming. Yes they keep a list going and try to match people up. I believe (but don't quote me on it) that new drivers starting out team get paid either $0.16 or $0.17 cents per mile, that's all miles even when you are sleeping. This will represent about $0.32 to $0.34 cents per mile compared to going solo brand new which pays $0.25 per mile.

I'm out of Lewiston. Been thinking about teaming. I enjoyed it when I was on my mentors truck. In fact I wasn't looking forward to being solo when my 240 hrs were done. :) maybe in the future I'll find someone who'll put up wih me.

You'll be out of Sumner if you are on a specialty fleet. If you are regular OTR, your DM will be in Troutdale. You will still be able to park at Sumner.
