Whatever chain you're told to use by your driver leader, or whatever they're called now. When I was with Swift it was Love's and TA/Petro.

    Don't understand?
Swift sends the fuel route when you get dispatched.
As a company driver, we don't choose what fuel stop to go
Sometimes, swift sends you to a fuel stop that's pretty close to your final. In that case I would skip the fuel stop and wait till I got loaded. Just make sure you don't run out of fuel

I usually skip the fuel stops at terminals if I have enough to get somewhere down the road. No shower credit or points. Swift frowns on that but...

But last time it bit me. (Last night)
I was supposed to fuel at the Denver terminal but I didn't want to take the time to make my way in and out. There is often a train or two that delays things. So I headed to the TA in Limon.
But as it was a weekend, response was a bit slow. I sat for nearly an hour just waiting to get through on the phone to my terminal. Never happened. I had even tried a couple other terminals, but no one answered the phone. So I shut down there for the night, about 120 miles shy of where I had planned to shut down.
I am still able to make my delivery window though, so no worries for me.

Wait a sec.. Dispatch not only tells you where load and unload but exactly where to fuel??? Yeah forget that BS... I am ok with "We fuel at XXXX chain"... But not being told exactly which location to fuel at... I plan my fueling around my day... Not plan my day around my fueling.

    magoo68 and InTooDeep Thank this.

So they tell the drivers where to fuel, big deal.
They have a good fuel program that finds the cheapest price and it saves them millions each year.
    .
A lot of owner ops on here use a fuel program to save money

So you get an assigned fuel stop in your trip plan? If I understood correctly
