Swift/Knight is buying U.S. Express

So they just dont bother with rebadging them? Probably keeping them as is until they get sold off with the normal 4 year cycle.

Too bad, i kinda like the grey. Anything other than the basic fleet white is nice to look at.

With that logic, they need to buy Amazon's Prime...those yahoo's are way more wreckless than Swifty ever was.

 

I called US Expresss a couple times to enquire about a job and all they wanted to talk about is there super duper fantastic amazing wonderful lease purchase program they had and I needed to sign up really quick to get in really super quick and do this real cool amazing lease purchase deal that they had for me.
I said a job not a lease purchase , they cooled down and didn't have to much interest after that.

It would appear that Amazon doesn't have their own fleet and contracts out their freight? I've seen some questionable looking trucks pulling their trailers.

 

They have their own trailers, but have contractors pulling them...they would save a lot of money replacing products damaged in wrecks if they would just have a mega like U.S./Knight/Swift with a dedicated fleet pull them instead of these random yahoo's they have now. It seems to me that Amazon contractors have more major foul ups than Swift, FedWrecks, and CRE combined.
