Swift makes the financial news

    Of course it also occurs to me that if Swift is paying the usual .92(I think) a mile for O/O then independents will probably only take the Swift freight as a last resort as opposed to sitting.

    I imagine the outside approved carrier would be entitled to a larger pay package due to securing their own authority, plates, insurance, permits etc.
    My question is how does this new program help me? lol. Will I be able to subscribe to ITS and pick and choose my own Swift loads much like a Landstar or Schneider Choice program?

    There shouldn't be an "after hours" simply three shifts. If they do not want trucks to park at 5pm they should support trucks 24/7. With todays technology there is no excuse for inefficiency. The company would profit as well as the drivers. A win/win!
