Gotta be tough running reefer loads and their appt. times with electronic logs. Conversly, you're not being pushed to backlog and drive 16-18 hrs after sitting a day. Good and bad in all this. Thanks for sharing, Gladhand.

Really havent had anything to note. Miles have been average. Just got hired by a new company and will be leaving Swift. Its a small carrier out of South Dakota.
-
what where your average Reefer miles per week over a months time, a girl called ( Honey Badger 101 ) on you tube works at Swift Reefer and only gets around 1800 per week not good, freight is slowing at swift and at prime, thanks will be going dry box less live loads
-
I'd rather have the live loads and unloads. Way better than getting stuck with all the damaged trailers these lazy ##### like to drop. I averaged 2,294 miles a week doing reefer for 9 weeks. My last few loads with the company were well over 2000 miles. Honestly if I were to do it all over I would have went with reefer right away.

What company?

Stan's Inc. The only stuff about them on here is negative, but I'm still giving them a shot. Hope it works better for me.asphaltreptile311 Thanks this.

thanks for your reply, i guess the miles on Reefer greatly depends on the driver and location, was looking at Millis Transfer they may have Direct TV and XM Radio but its all back roads like RT-64 ,202 through VA and Carolina and RT-77 all hills out the was zoo, used to work there back in the 90's, Swift has more Terminals along the interstate, and better health insurance, Millis Transfer terminals are near the beer plants, theres 3 Costco's here Pittsburgh,pa that swift delivers to, YES here in Pittsburgh,Pa so home and location are perfect
-
The miles here on the swift reefer side seem too not want to break over 2200 a week must be slow time of year
-
little guy trucker on you tube says it's slow at prime as well, he left RST that's leased to prime, he went back to Traveloko, swift CEO mention freight will be down the rest of the year, to many trucks not enough freight
asphaltreptile311 Thanks this. -
One of those Costcos doesn't allow overnight parking at all, another "prefers you not park there" and the one in Homestead allows overnight parking, but I doubt they'll let you park there for 2-3 days. Swift is scaling WAY back on Costco out if Monrovia, MD (Costco will be running their own daycabs) and while they're going to keep the runs that can't be done "out and back" in a daycab I wouldn't count on getting that run when you need it.
