It could very well be the OP, Swift picked him up after USA Truck canned him. Now he'll be on to Werner.
I had that happen too! Even in 4 wheeler mode my GPS goes nuts sometimes and wants me to drive in circles.
Swift stabbed me in the back

Op should be fine. I'm starting to think being terminated from a driver mill is just the final exam.
Op if this is truly the only issue you have then you are in a lot better shape then me. As for your incident seriously read all the posts here. Even the snarky ones. You've been given a lot of good advice.Toomanybikes, jammer910Z, CJndaTruck and 1 other person Thank this. -
I made a few mistakes as a roookie driver too. After only 8 months as a company driver, I leased a truck. As everyone knows your first years is usually replete with mistakes and I stil lhad some to make. One was pulling into a customer and seeing the first axle on the trailer clear a sharp curb, but being too lazy to back up 2 feet and swing just a bit wider, figured the second axle tire would squeak by. It blew out the sidewall. Got unloaded and took the empty trailer 2.2 miles and bought a $250 tire and never told S wi f t about it.
Another time bobtailed into a farm off a levee road and picked up one of their trailers. Going back out the way I came in, the trailer got stuck in the ditch so had to call the cops to help block traffic and hire a wrecker to come out and use his crane jib to lift the trailer up and swing it over 3 feet to solid ground. $550 bucks and S w if T never heard about it.
moral of the story, if you can fix things yourself, it stays off your record plus you gain knowledge to not make those mistakes ever again. Spend a few hundred bucks today to save your $100,000 job this year see. -
The problem isn't in making the mistake. We all do that. The problem is compounding that error and then trying to place the blame elsewhere.

@Commuter69, just be honest at job interviews. Stuff like this is common. Learn from it. Consider teaming so if you get in a similar situation then you have someone who can get out and help you out of it.

I got to a receiver and was told to go to the end of the street and turn around in the dirt lot, then I would be headed in the right direction to back in to the dock.
It was the way all the drivers did it...
I did that.
Too bad for me that it had rained just before, and I got stuck in mud.
I called a tow truck to pull me out, and paid $275.
But in doing so I didn't have to involve the company.
