Nope he would need his passenger endorsement and can't get that with his points. I have mine not sure why I keep it. But he can try foothill transit if he is near LA
Swift stabbed me in the back

This has happened to me numerous times - but like everyone on this forum, you learn to look before you turn, and analyze your spatial requirements, and to ask if it makes sense going there. USX navigation had me turn into a 2 lane road which 1 mile in, turned into a no truck road, (GVW 8000 or less), and I had to back up a mile with flashers on, pissed off a lot of people, backed up into a intersection with a light, causing flashing lights and horns with consternation among the driving public to get back on the other road. Yes you curse, yes you punch the seat, yes you lose your (####), but you don't give up........and you never ever tell your employer you got into this situation. You sir are the driver, its your responsibility to manage the truck. Get google maps with 3D it is very useful.

Had to back out a couple times, back up using the oncoming lanes, flashers and high beams, only difference is you're going slow.
Back before they had the nav thing, we had text directions using a macro which were typically written by other drivers who had been to that customer before. The Dirs on this one sent me to the next exit deep into million dollar residential homes with skinny little local streets. Hard to keep the trailer tandems off people's lawns. Figure the Dirs were written by some passive aggressive disgruntled former or current Swift driver for laffs. -
not to mention hitting tree branches and low power lines

Mine came back as a write up, and two mandatory training classes.
Seems pretty reasonable. A training class never hurts...
Training or no training, it was a stupid mistake that will never happen again.
I think my AM has been losing drivers pretty regular over similar situations.
I can only assume they ran over much more expensive stuff. Plenty of expensive stuff to hit in these shopping mall lots, I was curious why he was so worried about the sign.
Lucky for me the thing was never installed correctly, as I was able to knock it down without even a bend. -
I will always call my boss, and follow those instructions.
His first question "did anyone see"
Had the answer and following instructions been different... I did my duty.
Not to sound like a goody goody, far from it.... Cameras are every where now, and the gamble is just not in worth it.Big Don Thanks this. -
