about a week and a half ago i stopped for my 10 hours at a rest area in southern illinois, when i woke up the next morning i got out of the truck and went inside to use the bathroom, came out 2 minutes later just in time to see a swift truck pull out from his spot and completely destroy the 2 trucks on his right side, apparently he thought he was driving a civic and started turning as soon as his drive tires cleared the truck to his right and he completely tore off the hood of a company Pete next to him and pushed the pete into a very nice looking western star (owner op)
i started yelling at the the swift driver and he stopped and i told him he just hit two trucks and he got out to look to see what he hit, and he hadnt even made it around his truck yet when i saw the owner op jump out of his truck with a baseball bat in his hands and i quickly said to the swift driver to get back into his truck and lock his doors if he wanted to survive, cops came out, wreckers came out, the swift driver ended up in hand cuffs because he didnt even have a logbook to show to the dot officers that showed up and he had no paperwork for the load he was carrying, he was a brand new driver and hadnt even been on his own for a week...
I SERIOUSLY wonder how a company like swift stays in business with all the drivers like this one they have out on the roads costing them tons of money in damage and lawsuits
Swift strikes again...

If it is something stupid it always seems to be a swiftie. I don't know where they get them at? I did have a knight driver that ticked me off today. It was bad enough that I was at a pilot and their yanked up card reader would not work. When I went inside I had to wait in line. Then the clerk could not figure out how to get the pump on.
My 15 minute flag turned into about 45 minutes. Then I went to leave and a knight had pulled up to the line in front of the pump beside me and went inside. Problem was you are suppose to put your bumper to the line. He had about a foot of his trailer past the line and I got a spread axle with 47000 lbs on it. Had I have pulled out I would have looked like a swifty leaving the fuel island.

every company has a few retard drivers, some companies are more well known for actually recruiting ####### intentionally (we all know who those companies are) -
Yeah a driver told me that after I got on the radio after the ####### cut me off and I told him "nice signaling dude"
I wish I was driving the low-side (instead of the Ten wheeler that day) in front the idiot and give the wheel a little shake and watch the him s*** his pants.... -

i wanted to, but with the 10 degree temps outside and blowing wind, i wasnt sticking my head out the window to yell at him... i just had a good laugh about it and went on my way, i made my delivery on time and he got to hitch a ride with a tow truck and now has a preventable on his DAC -
Glad you told that guy to get back in his truck and lock his doors. What is the matter with people, coming out with a baseball bat? Is he nuts? Yeah, the driver was an idiot but it sounds like he had no training whatsoever and it sure isn't worth going to jail for murder or assault with a weapon (baseball bat) just for a truck that can be fixed.
