I would say no unless you have a break in driving say two years or so. They are a starter company so I doubt if they pay more than 34cpm to start over. Im surprised it is not on their website.

No I've been driving but there telling me its between .44 .51 cpm with my experience
I just don't like riding with other people lol -
They are telling you that they pay .51 cpm? Swift??? Im in shock.
-
It's a sliding pay scale. Yes they might indeed pay 51 cents but for a 100 mile run. If you get a 2500 mile run you'll get 30 cents or whatever it is. -
Ah ok. The old Knight pay routine that seems to be going everywhere. I think Conway has that too and a bunch of others. Thanks for the clarification.

in fontana, if you passed the drive test at orientation, the sent you on your own. with my 13 yrs driving local, they gave me 4 yrs as experience and started me at .36 a mile. i requested a mentor to get refreshed on otr and sent me out for a week.

Why did you go from local to OTR?
-
Kinda curious about that as well... I run local linehauls, and they start us out at 41 cpm. Granted, I only get 2K miles/week, but what is the main advantage to switching to OTR?

was out of work for 15 months. was fired from coca cola and had a hard time finding local work due to the false work place violence charge they gave me. not going to get into that. swift was only place that gave me a job. had bills to pay.
