TA And Petro no longer give free showers for PM’s and maintenance.

Took this while waiting for a shower to be cleaned at the Pilot Cartersville GA.
Not sure how someone could occupy a shower for 1hr 10mins.
I think I take about 30mins to cover the 3 S's , S***, Shower and a Shave.

 

Yep, 30 years here too, still not dead from towelitis. I did, however, take a shower at the Flying J in Cokeville, WY and could have swore they threw a couple of piss bottles from the parking lot into the dryer while they were drying the load of towels. They smelled like dry fermented piss real bad. I had to dry off with my old shirt.

 

I mainly like the fact that my hood will probably still be on my truck when I get back out there. Loves and Peelot... not so much.

Ah, it was probably rollo dogs from the Pilot... you didn't need those staying in your system anyway.

 

I will readily admit to being one of "those" guys in the shower. After running around all day on everyone else's deadline, the shower is one place that I get to set the schedule. That's my "me time" to relax, unwind, and get out of the truck. I also like to do the dishes while I'm in there. They charge so much for those showers, I make sure I get my money's worth. I also try to shower during off-peak hours, but I don't stress myself out over it.

 

Yeah I like to bathe my dog in the shower too....
Thinking about bringing in a boom box and sleeping bag too...hang a do not disturb sign on the door and order a pizza . lol

 

I came out of my shower at Flying J Barstow one time, and saw a midlevel management type and a rent a cop were harassing a woman who was in the shower "too long" according to their words.

 

The guy in the shower for an hour wouldn’t be a big deal if they weren’t 4 showers behind on cleaning....

 

Is there a time limit to occupying a shower? If so, what?
