TA changing to all paid parking??

How about all the forest fires caused by smokers flicking out their burning butts? I say let's go ahead and make it $100 bucks for a pack of 20 cigarettes and be done with it.

 

Smokers should just be euthanized.

I didn't say I dislike TA .And If I like the fact that Loves (and Pilot) are building brand new up to date Truckstops and i prefer stopping there than an old run down TA , what seems to be the problem Driver ?

 

So how did they survive the first 100 years in business.

 

The one in Nashville is about 80% paid. Terrible place. Horrible restaurant reviews.

 

None of them were in business 100 years ago. However three decades ago they made money as they do now. Selling food, and fuel, and in locations with limited parking by charging. Baltimore has been charging since the 80's back when it was a 76.

Far to many company drivers buy fuel on pragrams their company mandate. Then try and park as close as they can to destination. This has cut bigger stops revenue.

Many are on subpar pay and survive by cooking microwave stuff in their truck instead of a restaurant.

Almost none will buy a shower. Instead stopping briefly at the gas stations their company requires to grab a free one.
