TA Nashville is to permanently close

If I were the family of that lady, I would sue...using her name at either one of those dumps would be an insult...sorta like suckey sports teams being sued by Native American tribes because they have an American Indian logo and name...(Cleveland, Washington, etc.)

It seems that some company bought the property as going to put up some big building.

It seems like every city and town doesn't want a truck stop in their neighborhood but they will build new stadiums, office buildings and restaurants. They want all the deliveries that have to be done by a truck but they do not want the truck. If they needed that land for their huge plans they should have given land outside the city limits and immediate approval for the construction of a new truck stop.

 

TA is being bought by British Petroleum.

 

Was that the old TA that was right across the street from Southern Comfert ? I forgot why they closed it.

I guess I am the only one that liked that place. Mostly because of good bicycle riding along the river. Other than that it's always been a dump. Even in the 90s it was dump
