Nope.....If I use points to eat I just get a 10 dollar ticket from the kiosk.
No change is given for the certificates....period! You can't even give the waitress the difference as a tip.

You can use them in the store and even buy smokes with them but be sure to buy a couple bucks more than the ticket amount...

 

I give them to the pan handlers in the lot. They give you that look like wth am I supposed to do with this!

 

I've tried all the big truckstop rewards program, and TA/Petro was the worst, the only things I liked were most have service bays, and empty fuel lanes. JMO I gave them up after my 2nd month.

 

I agree....I usually eat the buffet only at certain locations that have decent food.
Get a 10 ticket.Then the meal costs about 5 more bucks with a tip...At least it does not waste points..lol!

 

That maybe true, they certainly make it hard to get a big bankroll in the program, kiosk is a hassle, and waste your excess points.

Unless anything has changed since I've last used my UltraOne card, the entire system seemed backwards. To think they cater to a mass of truckers bent on conserving every penny from fuel, coffee, food, and In-and-Out times... I'm dumbfounded how they still have customers?

 

Got most of them done......finishing them up Monday.
Get to work on the truck adding chicken lights and getting paid for it....lol!....

Can you ask store clerk how much total would be for purchase and then get exact amount of points on ticket to pay for it?
