Tired of giving brokers my personal number. Would like to use a telephone app on my tablet with its own separate number. Anybody have any suggestions on which one works best for 'Droid OS? Thanks!
Tablet/Telephone Apps that give you a separate number for calls?

Why don’t you peoples get another phone when you get an authority or for brokers?
$15 to $45 a month is better than getting a gazillion calls. -
There aren't any apps that let you use a tablet as a phone. Your tablet would need a built-in native dialer then you would just pop in a sim card like you would with your phone. Cheap Android tablet phone.
Your best bet is to just get a cheap prepaid plan. When your number starts showing up on men's room walls just pop in a new sim / start a new plan and get a new number.
PagePlus Standard Plan - $80 gets you 2,000 minutes that last for a year. No monthly fees. You can start a new plan online or at any of their stores.
UltraMobile PayGo - $3/mo. gets you 100 minutes of talk, 100 texts and 100MB 4G LTE data. You can buy more minutes/texts/data as needed.
Net10 - $199.99 up front gets you 12 months of UNLIMITED talk and text and 5GB/mo of 4G data. Options for AT&T or TMO.Last edited: Nov 17, 2021

Thanks to all for the input!
Got a few suggs from some of my meta-peeps. Google Voice has gotten some high praise, and there's another called "2nd Line" that you can actually setup as a "business line"... Prolly gonna try both for a bit and see which one I like better. I'll share my findings.
Thanks again!bullhaulerswife and ProfessionalNoticer Thank this.
