I ran those miles before the account, and plan on running them after leaving the account. 12k per month is an easy month if the miles are there.Scooter Jones and Rideandrepair Thank this.

You've been leasing on for what, 20 mos now? What are your total paid miles during that time? Anywhere near 240,000 miles?
Rideandrepair and Farmerbob1 Thank this. -
After 20 months.
Started at 443k miles.
Currently 659k miles.
Total miles 216k miles.
1. My empty miles are paid.
2. I rarely use PC for more than a few miles a month.
3. I was shut down for a full month for engine rebuild shenanigans late last year.
4. The last month has been poor mileage. Only one week over 3k miles.tommymonza, Rideandrepair and Scooter Jones Thank this. -
You’ve been hustling. 2500 miles a week average is more realistic at just about any Company. I’m no expert by any means. But When I started, I had a similar deal as you. I based everything on 2300 miles. Though I did average more. At the end, I was running 2700 miles, 2640 paid. Throw in a couple 2 week vacations, and it’s 105k for the year. Even if you can get more, after while it gets real old. Setting the minimum lower, I think is better. Anything more is extra. Instead of always coming up short.
Farmerbob1, blacklabel and tommymonza Thank this. -
I don't beat myself up over short weeks. They happen.
At the same time, I am fairly aggressive about getting miles. I always try to politely get in to deliver or pick up early if possible. It's not always possible. Lots of sites have strict appointments, but many do not.
I set goals beyond what I expect to be able to easily manage. I have managed one 4000 mile week since I became an o/o, so it is possible - just not easy. Everything has to line up almost perfectly.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
Gotta love it when some driver in an ancient truck parks next to you and idles all night with a brokentarded compressed air system that vents loudly every 15 seconds.

Some time ago, I created a thread frustrated by such things like unnecessary idling or using APUs when the weather is perfect.
Well, someone responded by saying that I was unfit for this profession by not being able to accept the natural sounds of trucking.
I am afraid the sound the dryer makes belongs to that category too.
Accept it or quit.

I have a Rigmaster so it is what it is . Unless its 72 out and my Fridge is empty that sucka will run .
fordconvert, Rideandrepair and Farmerbob1 Thank this. -
Actually, the noise itself didn't bother me. My annoyance was more with the fact that the driver or owner couldn't bother to fix it.
Once I stopped being annoyed at shifty maintenance, I fell asleep almost immediately.Itsbrokeagain, Rideandrepair, TallJoe and 1 other person Thank this.
