Ohio went to ezpass this month.
So you should be able to run it now. They use to just have a card for it, but now it is with everyone else in the east.

Infosaur if you don't mind me asking how long did it take for direct deposit to kick in? Hubby signed up for it we got a check last week any hope this week dd will start. Check does me no good till he comes home :p

    Thanks :)

As for USA from what my hubby has told me he likes it (this is his first driving job) I know we had read a lot of bad stuff on here about them but they are the first one to give him a chance it's what you make of it. Orientation was long and boring he got his road test the Monday he got there same w/the physical they ended up not doing the second half of it and did it as a group demonstration on Thursday. They also don't let you know if you are actually hired on till Thursday so they could ultimately send you packing we had no idea about that and they did do it to other people. His trainer picked him up the next day after orientation finished they get along great they are running teams now have been since about last Friday if I remember correctly. He's been to the other side of the Mississippi to Brownsville & Laredo TX and north of Tulsa OK this past week so he's definitely getting his driving time in. I got a nice surprise this past Sunday when he showed up at my door. They had a drop off over by Cleveland and his was on his 34 hour restart and he called a friend of ours to come pick him up since his trainer said he could go he only got to stay for a few hours but not seeing him for two weeks I took what I could get.

I know they scan in their logs # Pilot and takes advantage of free shower for every 50 gallons and has done laundry in the Roanoke terminal I believe when they had to get the truck repaired for a hose breaking coming off the radiator. Nothing else really comes to mind but he's only been doing this for two weeks :p

Hmmm, I don't recall them sending any checks, but I suppose it's possible. If you really need the money and it's a joint account, your husband does NOT need to be there for you to deposit the money into his (or your combined) account.

Obviously you should tell him you're going to do this, I don't want to get into anyones domestic buisness.

But I'm amazed at what they DON'T teach people/kids about banking these days.

If you have your husband's account #, and/or the check is made out to your husband, just write "FOR DEPOSIT ONLY" on the back of the check and the bank will put it in for you. You won't be able to draw on it (unless you have a joint account) but it will be deposited.

I know when I went though orientation, *I* was suprised on Thursday morning that Charlie came in and said "Okay! If you're still here, you've been hired!". I mean I wasn't going to question it, but I thought I'd have more interviews.

It didn't seem like our group diminished much in 3 days, but apparently they DID send a few guys home. They must have run background checks and what not in the 3 days of orientation. They even doctored my aplication WITH me, because I had listed working two jobs at the same time (which WAS true, but there really wasn't any way to document it in the standard form). Also I know at least one guy failed the drug/alcohol test. Because one of the instuctors shook his head and said "who goes drinking (drugging?) the night before a job interview?"

Since you're in Ohio hopefully you'll see your hubby more, since USA goes though Ohio a LOT.

I'm trying to get back to USA, they said they'd give me a NYC regional post, because nobody else wants to drive it. I *JUST* got my new Drivers Licence, because I had to change my legal address back from PA to NY and I'm getting a new cell phone this morning. If I can shake this cold, and get all my affairs in order, I might be in orientation for re-hire next week.

Yea we don't have a joint account anymore due to some child support issues he has. Thanks for the info though. I think he said they sent about 10 people home from his class during orientation and I believe they started off with about 30 (he was in Vandalia).

I hope that is true what you say about OH lol it was a nice surprise seeing him last weekend since I was expecting not to see him for at least 4 weeks. Good luck on getting back in & getting that NYC regional I can't even begin to imagine driving through the streets of NY in a truck not that I wouldn't mind it personally lol we are hoping to move back that way since that's where we are from within the next year I'm really hoping USA works out for us or at the very least he gets good expierence and uses them as a stepping stone for something better.

For every week you are out you get a day (min. 2 weeks out) but if I'm not mistaken hubby's trainer said it goes no more than 5 days so if you are out 6 weeks you only get 5 days.
