I have had nationwide for the last several years for my couple trucks running mostly local and some regional loads. We mostly haul dump trailer/tandem dump truck stuff and heavy equipment. Since my insurance will be up for renewal soon I decided to get a couple quotes. I got one back from an agent that I use for other business related insurance that was about 25 percent cheaper for the same coverage as I currently have…. But it was progressive which I have no personal issues with but I have heard second hand stuff about them which has been mostly bad. I also know someone who just tipped over a truck and was on progressive and had a check within about a week and from everything I know about the situation they could have found so many ways out of paying it’s not even funny.
Tell me why I shouldn’t switch to progressive

"Flo" is HUGE, and I have Progressive for my 4 wheeler, only because it was the apt. managers daughter, but quite honestly, I don't think any one is better than any other, they're all crooks. I've heard good and bad about ALL insurance companies, some say you CAN'T cancel a Progressive policy, under some contractual agreement, you actually going to read all that crap? Kind of funny, I typed in best and worst insurance companies, and it comes up inconclusive, meaning, they all stink. Problem is you never know until you need them. Seems Progressive is about in the middle for complaints, Allstate the worst and State Farm the best. Good luck.

Some brokers won't work with you if you have Progressive. I don't really know the reason.
W923 and FullMetalJacket Thank this. -
