Call a lawyer...did you really just say that. He had to ask someone to store his #### in their office, how do you think he's going to afford a lawyer?Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

I was quoting Jhon0098 he said call a lawyer. I was mocking him for saying it.REO6205 and Another Canadian driver Thank this.

No, I agree. If I smash your trucks and get fired why should I be responsible? No, I’d get a lawyer for sure. I’d also counter sue for making me sad, spilling my rum which made me more sad and for making me cry and making me ugly which made me even sadder. I’d be a rich MOFO.Lazer, PacoTaco and Another Canadian driver Thank this.

Look into the companies mentioned in this thread (or other similar threads), many are still relevant. Go to my profile and find my posts, I was also in a similar predicament a little over a year ago. Note that some of the recommendations (in any of these threads) might be location specific. If none of these companies pan out for you, start a new thread and summon Mr. Chinatown. Also keep in mind that economy and trucking are kind of bad right now, you are going to need to put in a lot of leg work and maybe even get a little lucky.Another Canadian driver and ATELITE602 Thank this.

Right there, just like that.
I was in an accident a few months ago and my truck was really messed up.
My DM said they would have to find me a way home while it was being investigated, then a couple hours later I was told that I was in the clear. Safety took one look at the dash cam video and deemed it non-preventable. I was in a different truck the next day.
It probably was not the amount of damage to the truck that the OP was fired for, as much as it was that they saw it as a preventable accident.
And here I am in Phoenix, AZ right now to pick up that very same truck that was wrecked.
They did a wonderful job of restoring it to pristine condition, detailing it inside and out so it seems like a brand new truck.
I started it up, and the A/C seemed to burn out right then - so it is back in the shop to get that fixed. Oh well. It will be another couple days before I can get back into my nice million mile truck.
And the fun of swapping trucks at 110 degrees...Another Canadian driver, Albertaflatbed and tscottme Thank this.
