Edibles are common. It is very possible that you might have gone to a party or something, and some of the snacks or even drinks were made with pot or laced with THC.

This is one reason why truckers should not even hang out with people that do drugs.

EDIT: I see after finishing reading the whole thread that this is all taken care of. GOOD!

If Psychemedics is the original test lab, they retest the second sample due to being the only lab with their patented process.

Pretty sure it's true because it is an authorized study that is posted on the internet for those choosing to educate themselves.

    Oooh authorized and everything.

Except there is this fro mlm an authorized source saying they do not know.

Poppy Seed Foods and Opiate Drug Testing-Where Are We Today?

I will maintain people eat poppy seeds that do not test positive, and people that do fail I general have an asterisk by their explanation.

Oh I was only at a party where others smoked dipe.

Well I ate a poppy seed bagel a week ago.

Gee I thought doing and drinking ingredients was like legal dude.

If a million people are testing fine, and 100 are not odds are they do dope.

What you've referenced is a "review of the literature" which may lend itself to bias in favor of what the reviewers prefer as they may "cherry pick" material that supports their position.

What I've referenced is the actual interpretation of raw data collected by military researchers.

I suppose one's choice of information and its validity depends to a great extent on the credibility of the authors of a study and whether it is sourced as primary, secondary, tertiary, etc.

"Pretty sure" just doesn't cut it when you're dealing with something that might cost a driver his job.
The only reliable source of information, sad to say, are directives from various public agencies.
"I read it on the internet" gives comfort to people who believe in Santa and the Easter Bunny and want something that validates what they already believe but it's no guarantee of accuracy.

Yes it does, it's the worst about hanging in your system.. About 48 hours for opiods and about the same for coke in a UA... Hair can detect the incident reliably going back 90 days but sometimes longer, up to a year. You see your hair is constantly growing and thus constantly taking in nutrients and whatever toxins may be mixed in there.. think of it like rings in a tree, you can see when a tree had bad water one year or a fire close by by looking at the rings.. That's how follicle testing works. It's considered a bit unreliable by the government because while you can see if a substance was present and even tell how long ago you can't tell the amount of consumption and thus you cannot tell for sure if the contact was casual or heavy, so that's why DOT doesn't use it, some carriers insurance companies do.
