Texas and ONLY Texas Oilfield Jobs!!

From what my sources say about that area of Texas, most of the jobs are taken. The companies are waiting to see if there will be an increase or maintain the same production.

 

You're right. Those sneeky Canadians try to hide everything they can!!!

 

I agree. While Halliburton is a good company to work for, they expect you to work for lower pay for several years. The reason so many people stay there is because they have been through the mill for so long, they stay for the payoff!!!

I know your question was directed to JahB, but I thought I'd offer my two cents anyway. That's good starting pay for a complete newbie. Money in the oil field is made from all the overtime on those 14 hour days.

 

I figured it would not be very much pay per hour. I'm trying to decide between hourly rates and % per load.

 

So, what happened? Did Baker Hughes buy Nabors? What else have you learned?
