I trust this wasn’t the reason you are no longer with your department. :biggrin_25523:

Not at all. It was late on a Friday night, all the old folks in the higher up spots had been asleep for hours:D

I believe you. I still have a kind of get out of jail free card cause the Chief of Police liked one of my 'Cudas.
He walked into Starbucks by my house, full dress uniform, 4 stars, medals, he's looking at me out of the corner of his eyes as he's walking by.
He turns around and says "I know at the moment you're not breaking the law. But I'm going to have to arrest you for all the times you have. "
    I started to chuckle.
He smiled and said " That's a really beautiful car."
I said thanks and he walked off into the Starbucks.
    I'm drinking my coffee.
Like 5 minutes later some dude pulls up in this cherry "69 blue Charger. Walks over, "My boss really digs your ride."

Flips a badge. Detective. Gives me a card. Says when I wanna romp on it, call him. Him and some CHP watch part of the 505 highway, make sure it's clear, and go for what they know.

Got in his car and left.

I stood there staring at the card.

    I
I pulled up in an abandoned warehouse parking lot where a bunch of stunt riders were about to start practicing. The look of disappointment when they saw me was priceless. Do we need to leave? Nope, if you don’t mind, I just want to watch (used to have a sport bike with the scars from wheelies gone wrong). If any one messes up and gets hurt, I was never here. I got a nice show on a Sunday afternoon.

Your story reminds me of a time I parked in an abandoned warehouse lot and these cars came in doing donuts, then the fire dep't truck shows up and they the donut cars do a little show then split.

Scottie jumped out with his forehead camera and they were like “WTF? let’s get out of here.”
