I drove Freightliners out there. I was amazed that they held up as well as they did. 5 - 7 mph on the lease roads was about all i'd do and the rattling was deafening

On the maintenence side of things I'd be under that truck with a grease gun every weekend. Grease is cheap and dusty/rough roads tend to pound the grease out of stuff pretty good.

I just ordered a Worx PowerShot, the new 40v model. I'm hoping to reduce my truck wash bill to under $2K per year.

It never fails. If I get a complete truck wash my next load is picking up at an oil rig, equipment or tools slathered in crude and/or drilling mud.

Those pete 365/367 that schlumberger runs hold up very well you can find em on the truck paper for a decent price. I know you wanted older pre emission but if you don't have any luck its worth checking out. 425/1650 isx 12 (had no complaints ran good hardly ever broke down) 8LL with 4.88s and heavy spec drive line

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

Just finished up with a job like this one last year where we used to deliver to cattle properties like some of the roads we went up were like goat tracks so rough i was down to 20 km/ph or 12 mph took 1 hour to drive 20 km/ 12 miles that's how rough it was no matter what brand of truck you buy the nuts and bolts will come loose in those kind of conditions, the key is like you mentioned above is regular cleaning of your air filters or replacing get an air compressor and blow out your air filters daily if in extremely dusty conditions also yes check every nut and bolt on the trailer especially the brake boosters they seem to shake loose quite regularly.

Oh I thought those round-head nuts had all come loose, I guess you're right, only to the fender support.
