Your concentration is distracted even with your head cam because your also thinking about what your capturing with it.
Basically hands free multitasking while driving.

Your attention is split between two tasks, driving and filming

Well, let's make it illegal for drivers to talk on the blue tooth attached to their head while driving.

Actually ,I would no problem with that.
I'm one of those drivers that can freely addmit the even with Bluetooth I'm distracted.
I can't remember the last time I've had a conversation while driving.

Here's something I've always found odd.
I can have a conversation with a passenger and not ' feel ' distracted granted by dialog is choppy because my heads on a swivel.
But having a conversation even with Bluetooth....... Well the distraction is obvious lol, I'll drive right past my exit.

Millions of people every day drive around talking on their handsfree device and don't wreck out. Car manufacturers integrate bluetooth tech into the car stereos so driver can pair their phone to the car stereo and talk to people and drive at the same time. Even the stereo in my truck has bluetooth tech, but I haven't figured out how to pair it to my phone yet.

My point is, I am not distracted by having a camera clipped to my hat while driving and talking to my audience. If you are familiar with Vlogging, plenty of people have dashcams they are recording video and speaking to their audience while driving. All I did was take the concept of a dashcam and attach it to my head and people have lost their minds over it.

Arkansas law now in effect you cannot text while driving anything.

IF you are texting, it's 250 fine plus probable cause to search further.

If texting in constuction it's automatic double fine. And that is just the minimum. The Judge will set the final fines which will reach 4 digits.

If texting results in loss of life or damage accident, prision is a possibility, revocation of license etc.

I'm in Washington state right now, they have taken it a step further and illegalized eating, applying makeup, shaving etc while driving.

See that's the thing though your are in fact distracted possibly not as much being hands-free but, you are splitting your attention between two tasks.

Just because car manufacturers have integrated this crap ( Bluetooth ) into their design doesn't make ok or a good thing.
It's just makes it easier for motorists to be distracted while driving.

Just as many people were losing their minds over the YouTube ( truckers) vloggers as well.
I think you may get a little more attention because most of the videos you post on here is you umm pointing your finger at some other driver. It really seems like you have an obsession with pointing out others faults.
    JUST AN OBSERVATION, LOL

When I first saw Scottie's videos I laughed. He is over the top. Example "Scottie System" driver training. Funny stuff. Now 2 years later I appreciate him and that he makes the effort to provide content. If there is something that's being talked about here and he has footage of it (I could site many examples) he provides it.

So people who hide (have nothing to offer, no content) and take swipes at his videos are sad. Do half of what Scottie does then open your mouth.
