That's funny. But I do want a camera headset.

I like Scottie's videos. They're harmless. But they do remind me of that guy who ran for Dart, whose alter persona claimed to be the dork on the back of their trailers, and threatened to turn speeders in on the cb.

The forehead cam always recording, always seeing. Scottie says its the future. Everyone recording everyone else thru a device on your forehead. Scary thought? Perhaps. Inevitable? I think maybe so..

Google was the first I ever heard of a video camera that sees what the filmographer sees when they announced Google Glasses. For some reason they never took off. Speculation is that fat dude who wore his test GG's in the shower lol and Google scrapped the entire idea.

Other companies came on the scene, namely GoPro with cameras and mounts for varying headgear. Motorcyclists were some of the first to wear head cams while driving. Around the same time various people in sports and recreation started wearing them on their heads, skiiers, skydivers, zipliners, mountain bikers, swimmers, divers, you just about name it most activities have been filmed by somebody with a head cam. I may or may not be the first one to put one on my head while driving a commercial vehicle, (about 2.5 years ago) but I'm not the only one. I have seen 4 or 5 other Trucking Vloggers using head cams while driving now.

This is brand new tech that is scary for people right now. They've never seen it before and believe it just has to be illegal. Understand we are in the very beginning of the 21st Century now, who knows what will be the norm 80 years from now. Imagine back to 1900 most people got around on actual horsepower. Less that 100 years later we had people walking on the Moon.

Bodycameras are starting to get beyond fun and recreation, law enforcement is increasingly integrating them into use. I can see a day not too far off that everyone will have a bodycamera, what better protection for people who believe the cops unduly harass them than to wear a live streaming bodycamera to prove that, (live streaming to prevent the police from deleting the evidence).

Auto companies also put wifi in vehicles. Doesn't make it intelligent or safe to use, because it is there and available.

So... sounds like you're trying to equate wearing a bodycamera on one's hat while driving as unintelligent and unsafe lol. What do you say to all the motorcyclists who wear one while riding?

Actually, I was talking about the blue tooth. Since you wanted to go off being technical. I could give to dumps about your camera on your head, if you want to drive around looking like douchey the clown, by all means knock yourself out.

Scottie, you a pear to be a nice fellow and all. I do have trouble watching your videos because you seem to be wrapped up with people doing wrong , while not being perfect yourself. The other op nailed it on the head about you being like the dart guy. Fact is, I thought you and him were one in the same when I heard him.

I don't think there's a trucker out there who can sit like a robot all day holding the steering wheel with two hands 99.9% of the time, doing everything by the book at all times. Yes I am critical of other drivers who are holding a phone while driving. I am guilty of touching a piece of paper while driving which is not illegal by comparison.

I would like to know what happened to the original poster lol, did he end up getting too many stitches?
