Texting and driving? I snitch.

Just read a report today about Australian raptors. Seems they like to start fires. No seriously, they will get a burning brand from a fire somewhere, fly it over to a field and drop in on dry grass. Makes all the little critters flee, making them easy prey for the raptors.

That's amazing! I do know that birds are smarter than we first game them credit for. Somehow we are able to tell that at least some breeds of bird are aware of past, present, and future. The passing of time is something we thought unique to us humans. But its looking like birds are aware also.

 

I did know that eagles will drag mountain goats right off the side of a cliff and just let go of it and let it fall, having gravity do the dirty work. Then flying down for dinner.

 

For some reason that posts brings this guy to mind.

 

"Caught on camera." Didn't look like anything was caught on camera to me. Was this just some PSA somebody made in a junk yard?

 

Pretty big junk yard.

 

The second scene with the blown airbag. Actually it could have just been a used airbag taped to the dash. No broken glass, no powder, nothing broken, but a deflated bag and perfectly placed cellphone camera.
