    Well, some good news.
I emailed the CEO again today, as a last resort.
Under an hour later, their claims guy called me to resolve the matter.
We did a bit of "meeting in the middle", and agreed to a settlement. I dont mind negotiating a settlement, but the initial offer was too low.
Kudos to Mr Simone, who intervened in this small matter, well small to a CEO anyways. But credit where it is due, the guy stepped up and we came to a fair arrangement.
I just signed the paperwork, so when the check turns up, this horrid accident is over in my eyes. Well as over as it can be until the truck is all brand new again.
I wont be discussing accurate numbers, but it's fair enough in my book, so please do not ask.
Many thanks again, for all the condolences regards the truck. I'm sure it will be back to new in no time, well I hope anyways,.....

Martin, Glad you came to a conclusion, That is unbelievable that they would drag this out like this, I hope this doesn't happen again, But if it does not to you, that USA learns their lesson, And does the same thing that the rest of the companies does, and that is they don't let these low lifes work for them, lowering their standards isn't going to do any good!.

Couldn't have said it any better my friend. If I were the op, I would also request that the video he took, be used in future orientations as a "What not to do" as part of the deal. I myself and knowing everyone on here strives for safety of others. Some members do have valid points on how they were lucky not to have made it to the interstate. I also think in the future it would be a good idea to not sell beer or alcohol at truck stops to drivers fueling and on duty. Just my .02

    As promised, an update.
The check, in the amount that we agreed on, arrived at the house today.
I consider this matter well and truly finalized.
Credit where it is due, Mr Simone intervened and stopped the low balling for my downtime. Not my fault one of their guys hit a specialized hauler, and Mr Simone seems to have seen that point.
In all my correspondence to Mr Simone, and in fact to everyone at USA Truck, I was polite, professional, to the point, and understanding of their views and concerns. I was also firm in the fact that my down time is worth more than the standard $150 a day, and we met somewhere in the middle.
I don't think, even with the abundance of video's to the contrary, that ALL USA Truck's drivers are idiotic drunks. Out of the @2400 trucks they run, there are obviously going to be total 'tards driving some of them, it's a numbers game I guess.
From most of the folks that have replied to this thread, it shows me that there are indeed decent and courteous employees of USA Truck on the road with me. To those, I say thanks once more for your concerns and kind words.
