Curious about the driver unload part. Never done it with Schneider. Do they supply you with a hand Jack? Power Jack? Fork lift? I mean I get the meaning of unloading I done it with other companies but they put a ejack inside the trailer and it's company equipment

My guess is c&s throws me a manual pallet jack and tells me to get to work. Just a guess.

I check every load for that... I've never done it either, but I know some places not only make you unload it, but sort it out too if it's a mixed load. Never seen a rate high enough for that kind of BS LOL.

A hand unload usually involves unloading a floorloaded trailer..... Paper Products are usually what it is.... Any Idea on the weight....Lumpers are gonna be around somewhere....Just gotta find em.... Good Luck

I knew driver unload wouldn't be that easy with pallets.... find a home depot around, I think lumpers take their break there

    It is paper products.

But its not going to matter.

I'm calling in to Charlotte now to have ALL my loads pulled off of me. They're trying to send me 200 ****ing miles out of route to go pick up an empty trailer because that is the "best available option" according to the box planner. They do not pay me enough for this God **** bull**** and I'm done wasting my hours running around for these absolute morons. I'm bobtailing back up to the Atlanta OC and camping out at the gate and waiting for an empty to show up, then I'll find another load once I've got a trailer. I am getting so sick and tired of this crap. And its only been getting worse and worse in the year and a half I've been with SNI. If its gonna continue, I'm seriously going to have to be trying to get a loan from the bank to pay off this truck at the end of my 1 year lease, so I can just take this truck and go pull trailers for another company. I've worked way to hard to get this far in and and I'm not one of those wimps that's going to throw in the towel and default on my lease. No way no how, I'll tough it out until this truck is mine. You all know I'm a reasonable person and it takes a lot of crap to push me over the edge, but I'm getting to the point of losing it over this useless excuse of "trailer management" by one of the worlds largest trucking companies.

Oh look, I call Charlotte, get through, get told to wait on hold, wait 33 minutes, and then it hits 5pm and I get cut off as the phones transfer to support shift. Lets try again!!

Ok so I finally get through to support shift and explain to him that I want to have my loads pulled because they cannot find me a reasonable trailer search. He puts me on hold for 10 minutes and contacts CS, then gets back to me saying "CS checked our capacity in the area and we can't pull the load off you". So I tell him that "I am sure as sh** not about to drive 200 miles out of route to go pick up an empty trailer", and that I want the load removed and am going to go to the Atlanta OC, check for wait for an empty and then find another load. "Well, maybe you can go to the Atlanta OC and wait for an empty there, and then go pick up this load. We can't pull it off you". He says. I say to him, "Well, I'm just telling you flat out I'm not going to pick up the load.". He kind of stutters something. "I'm not a company driver, I don't get paid for sitting and if I'm going to sit its because of my own choosing, not because you cannot provide me with a trailer within a reasonable distance". Then he goes on saying he can't pull it off me and that my ICA is still in Charlotte and he is messaging her to call me.

I'm waiting for her to call me now. I am about to just absolutely lose it right now.

    Grijon and Lonesome Thank this.
