you should be able to run your apu into exhaust stack--might have to use a bit flexpipe to allow for different viberation and flexing while going down the road

In the older pre-DPF units, yes, you can plumb directly into the stack.

There are two big reasons to not do this with a DPF-equipped exhaust system: the heat of the exhaust "could" make its way into the APU, ruining it. And, there are very specific regulations regarding modification of the exhaust system function. Sleeving the pipe and plumbing to the sleeve does not affect the function...and prevents super-heated exhaust from the DPF from being pumped into your APU.

ok i was wondering about that--i really dont have any expirience with dpf engines--thanx for the heads up
i guess an alternitive would be a seperate smaller stack--i have seen them for sale for motor homes and such--would be very easy to rig something like that up

Where would you run the APU exhaust? Up along the stak? Or else where?

i would think right along the stack--then you would not really need any other bracing-- maybe 2 ft of good flex pipe into a nice chrome stack and hold that to the main stack with a double clamp in a couple of spots

I would sleeve the top of the stack with something pretty form just below the top of the guard, then run the APU exhaust pipe up the back of the main exhaust and plumb it into the sleeve. Purely for cosmetics, of course.

That's what my dad does, finds out who wants beef or pork, divvies up the prices of the animal and feed, butcher costs etc and he raises them til butcher time.

Some of those claw machine stuffed toys have $100 bills rubber banded to them....
