I didn't think UPS or FxF would have a no compete clause. I thought we all ran on a similar system with linehaul moving bulk freight city to city and P&D delivering it. The only real difference was who could hang on to their experienced workers the longest to ensure the freight got to the customer in one piece.

We got this carrier... they are called MTS freight, they undercut everyone. But they are notorious for demolishing freight. Industry wide for our entire region they have that stigma. Only break they catch is if the freight originates our routes through SLC... EVERYBODIES freight goes there to die regardless who you ship with.

I would NEVER use a debit card for online purchases. Just look at how many billion dollar outfits get their websites hacked, not to mention the government. I do use paypal quite a bit, but still, on a prepaid so that I can't get hurt to badly if security is compromised.

Sometimes, when you really NEED that extra money, taking a different job for part time, a couple of days a week is OK. As long as it is completely different than what you do five days a week. The old saying that "a change is as good as a vacation," has some validity to it.

I pay everything online except for my water bill. Got to send my wife off to town hall with my debit card on her day off. My town is just too rural to have any online system set up. Only 50% of us have internet... it is all DSL.

I buy all my stuff via Amazon to have it shipped to my PO Box cause I don't get any house mail. But yeah, I shop online quite a bit and haven't had any major issues.

I'm sure we all have our own little trade secrets that we like to keep to ourselves that separates one company from another, even if it is in the same industry. It's the reason why XPO is suing YRC for stealing execs and insider trade secrets. I know that Fed Ex, UPS and USPS allow each other to hire former employees, and we all use each other's services in one way or anouther. For example, USPS uses Fed Ex and UPS for their cargo planes for air transport since we don't have any ourselves, and Fed Ex and UPS uses our services to transport parcels. Obviously Fed Ex and UPS don't use each other's services, but it's a shared relationship that we all use with each other.

I like to buy stuff online but it's not everyday that I buy stuff more or less hobby stuff I have a small die cast truck collection and a lot of them I bought on line. Internet shopping is really good for specific things.

Yup, e-commerce is where it's at. It's changing the industry since everybody nowadays order online. I personally like collecting them old Shaw Brothers Kung Foo flicks and old Animes like Star Blazers. A lot of them you can only find online. But hey, what can say, it's just the kid in me. They just don't make shows and movies like them anymore.

Speaking of the government being hacked, I remember when we got hacked NOT ONCE, but TWICE. The only thing the Postal Service offered in condolence for the hack was a year of free credit report screenings. And then to top that off, the bank that I have my checks deposit to (Wells Fargo) has a scandal themselves......:banghead::dontknow:

^^^^ Yep, Amazon is GREAT, and Pay PaL is better. ANY thing we buy online is via pay paL. It may cost a few bux a year, but keeps my house etc..... safe!
