So it's a model? International LT? I did not know.

So now it's a Prostar LT instead of Prostar Eagle? Or did they drop Prostar all together and just call it LT (Lousy Truck)?

Prostar is gone. Its the dawn of a new age at Navistar. Since I am a former R&D driver for them I am really interested in seeing what they ended up with. The New MAN truck motor from Germany should be interesting too.

Got ya. Guess I've been off the road for so long, haven't seen them nor heard anything about them until now.

I drive Kenworth. And I can honestly say my first experience with the Paccar engine is a good one. Once broke in (around 60,000 miles) this thing has power and torque. At 100,000 lbs. I can be in 3rd. gear (if I want) leaving a corn/bean field without lug, or damaging anything.

I have also heard about getting some miles in before the Paccar works well. I have not seen a new LT on the road yet and ours have not arrived either.
